 Dr. Muhammad Ahmad

    Dr. Muhammad Ahmad has had a distinguished career promoting and developing the teaching of Arabic as a foreign language at state, and national levels. A native of Ghana, he was trained and received his PhD in Arabic and Islamic Studies in 2009 at the Al-Imam Al-Ouzai University of Lebanon. He is currently a Graduate Student at Hartford Seminary, CT. He taught Arabic and Islamic Studies in the Islamic Schools in Kumasi, Ghana. He is a Visiting Adjunct Professor of Arabic (TAFL) at Community College of Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Muhammad is also Regional Director of the Al-Imam Al-Ouzai University of Lebanon Distance Learning Center of West Africa, in Collaboration with his founding Institution “Usman Dan Fodio Academy of Islamic Sciences, Ghana”. Dr. Muhammad is also a member of the American Association of Teachers of Arabic (AATA), AL, American Council of the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL), VA and Modern Language Association (MLA), NY.

He is currently Adjunct Professor of Arabic at TAQWA Seminary in Plano, TX.
